Cranberry sauce never tasted so good. Bursting with warm spices, lively orange and rich dark brown sugar, this boozy brandied cranberry sauce makes for one show-stopping holiday side dish and adds an elegant touch to your holiday table. You’ll never need another cranberry sauce recipe again.

1 cup orange juice
1 cup dark brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon ground allspice
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
⅛ teaspoon ground cloves
1 12-ounce bag of cranberries
2 tablespoons brandy
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Zest from an orange

  1. In a saucepan over medium-high heat, bring orange juice, sugars and spices to a boil. Reduce the heat so that the mixture simmers and stir to dissolve the sugar.
  2. Bring heat back up to medium-high and add cranberries. Boil the cranberries until they pop and the mixture thickens to a gel-like, jammy consistency. Stir occasionally.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in brandy, lemon juice and orange zest. You can serve it warm or cold. Enjoy!
