APPLE CIDER OLD FASHIONED

Let’s snuggle up with this warming apple cider old fashioned to get through these chilly months. It's full of apple spice, rich dark brown sugar and touch of orange.

Ingredients

Orange peel slice Dark brown sugar Orange bitters Bar spoonful of water  Spiced apple cider  Bourbon Ice

In a mixing glass or old fashioned glass, add the orange peel slice and dark brown sugar. Sprinkle a few dashes of bitters on top as well as the bar spoonful of water.

1

Muddle until the dark brown sugar smooths out. The water helps with this. Feel free to muddle a bit of the orange peel as well.

2

Pour in the apple cider and bourbon. Add ice. A spiced apple cider is recommended for the best flavor.

3

Stir to chill. About 15 seconds will do. I prefer one large ice cube rather than standard ice because you get less dilution.
