Apple Cider Pot Roast

Slowly cooked in apple cider and rich beef stock with fresh herbs and warm spices, this pot roast puts a fall spin on a classic dish.

1

Dust generously with salt and pepper. Sprinkle flour over the chuck roast and pat to coat. The flour helps the roast develop a nice crust.

3

Add the remaining ingredients and bring the liquid to a boil. Turn off heat and braise in the oven until fall-apart tender. You can also find slow cooker and Instant Pot instructions.

4

To make gravy, strain the braising liquid. Melt butter, whisk in flour and briefly cook. Slowly whisk in braising liquid, bring to a boil and cook until thickened.

For one cozy fall dinner, I hope you try this apple cider pot roast. It's comfort food at its finest!
