BRANDY CRANBERRY SAUCE

Make your Thanksgiving dinner extra special with this brandy cranberry sauce, featuring warm spices and fresh orange zest.

Ingredients

Orange juice Brown sugar White sugar Cinnamon Allspice Nutmeg Cloves Fresh cranberries Brandy Lemon juice Orange zest

In a saucepan, boil orange juice, sugars and spices. Reduce the heat so that the mixture simmers and stir to dissolve the sugar.

Now add a bag of fresh cranberries to the saucepan with the orange juice mixture and turn up the heat to medium-high.

Boil the cranberries until they pop and the mixture thickens to a gel-like, jammy consistency. Stir occasionally.

Once the cranberries become a gel-like consistency, turn off the heat and stir in orange zest, lemon juice and brandy.
