Add the orange juice, lime juice and pitted cherries to a copper mug and muddle until the cherries break down. Add mint leaves and lightly muddle.
With the cherries and mint perfectly muddled, we're ready to add the bourbon. You can use regular bourbon or my recipe for a fabulous cherry-infused bourbon.
Add a handful of ice and stir until the surface of the copper mug turns nice and icy, about 15-30 seconds.
Top with chilled ginger beer and gently stir to combine. If desired, garnish with an orange twist, mint sprig and more cherries.
For a fun and fruity twist on a favorite bourbon cocktail, you'll love every refreshing, delicious sip of this cherry Kentucky mule. Cheers, friends!
