Place a small saucepan on the stove. Add your favorite type of milk and heat over medium. Don't turn the burner too high — we want to gently heat the milk.
As the milk heats, brew some espresso or strong coffee. Add it to a large mug with some gingerbread simple syrup.
When the milk begins to steam and small bubbles form on the surface, turn off the heat. Grab a whisk and beat until frothy. Pour over the espresso mixture.
