How to Make a Maple Latte

1

Add milk to a small saucepan and heat over medium. Do not bring the milk to a boil. We just want it to start steaming.

2

As the milk heats on the stove, we make some espresso (or double-strength coffee -- no need for an espresso machine if you don't have one).

3

In your serving mug, add the espresso and maple. Give it a stir to combine the two. Make sure you use real maple syrup here -- not pancake syrup!

4

When the milk begins to steam and small bubbles form on the surface, whisk vigorously until the milk turns frothy.

5

Now gently pour the foamed milk on top of the espresso and maple syrup. Gently stir to combine. The foam will layer itself on top like so.

Now find a cozy spot by the fireplace and sip away on your delicious seasonal maple latte! Cheers to the fall!
