MAPLE BOURBON-WHISKEY SOUR

When you need the perfect signature fall cocktail, you'll turn to this maple bourbon-whiskey sour every time. With the real maple syrup and bourbon, it tastes like fall in every sip.

Maple Sour Ingredients

Whiskey (bourbon recommended) Maple syrup Lemon juice Egg white Bitters Ice Lemon twist (for garnish)

Pour the bourbon-whiskey, maple syrup, lemon juice, egg white and orange bitters into a cocktail shaker. Do not add ice at this point.

1

Secure the top of the cocktail shaker and shake the drink for 30 seconds. This shake without ice is known as the dry shake, which helps build a frothier topping.

2

Now we take off the top of the cocktail shaker, add ice and shake again. This is called the wet shake.

3

Remove the cap of the cocktail shaker and strain the drink into a chilled glass. A sour glass is great, but you can use a martini or coupe glass as well. An old fashioned glass even works.

4

For an elegant, pretty touch, add a delicate lemon twist to the side of the glass. It also gives the sipping experience a nice fragrance.

5

Now take a sip and fall in love with that bright citrus, warming bourbon-whiskey and rich maple syrup. It doesn't get better than this.
