PEACH MINT JULEP

For a delicious twist on a classic bourbon cocktail, you'll love this peach mint julep, made with a brown sugar simple syrup and freshly muddled peaches.

Peach Mint Julep Ingredients

Bourbon Fresh mint Peaches Brown sugar simple syrup (recipe included) Crushed ice

In a mint julep cup, add the mint leaves, peaches and dark brown sugar simple syrup. Muddle until the peaches break down and release their juice.

Add bourbon and fill the cup halfway with crushed ice. Stir to chill and melt some of the ice. Fill the rest of the glass with more crushed ice.

For the perfect finishing touch, add a fresh sprig of mint on the side of the julep cup and sip away.

Tips

– Smack the mint before garnishing to release its fragrance. – Use crushed ice, not cubed ice. – If ripe peaches aren't available, you can use frozen peaches. Just thaw them first.
