Pizza Dough  With Beer

Combine flour, salt, yeast and beer in a mixing bowl. I love using an amber ale here for its bread-like malt.

Mix the flour, salt, yeast and beer until the ingredients form a shaggy dough like so. We just need the ingredients to come together in this step.

Knead using your hands or a stand mixer until the dough turns smooth and elastic. It will be a bit tacky to touch.

Divide the dough into five evenly sized balls. You can freeze what you don't use, so you always have dough on hand!

We let the dough rise and then gently hand-stretch the dough into a 10-inch disc on a lightly floured surface.
