SLOW COOKER GUINNESS CORNED BEEF

St. Patrick's Day dinner doesn't get easier than this slow cooker Guinness corned beef! After simmering in Guinness and warm spices, this corned beef becomes fork tender and full of flavor.

Ingredients

Guinness Corned beef with seasoning packet Dried bay leaves Brown sugar Beef bouillon Ground coriander Whole cloves Mustard powder Ground allspice Worcestershire sauce

Remove the corned beef from the package and pat dry. It will have a lot of liquid in the package. Locate the seasoning packet and set to the side.

Combine the seasoning packet from the corned beef, bay leaves, brown sugar, beef bouillon, coriander, cloves, mustard powder, allspice and Worcestershire sauce.

Add the corned beef with the fatty side up. Cook on low for eight to 10 hours until the corned beef is fork tender. To serve, slice against the grain or shred with two forks.

Now serve with some rye bread and whole-grain mustard. And, of course, don't forget a nice glass of Guinness on the side.
