Melt butter in a large skillet. Add the mushrooms. Cook until they brown. Remove the mushrooms from the skillet and set aside. While they cook, stir together ricotta, Parmesan and egg.

Add garlic. Whisk in the flour. Continue to whisk constantly for three to five minutes to cook out the flour flavor and create a smooth mixture.
