Peach Sangria

For the ultimate summer cocktail, you need this homemade peach sangria. Made with crisp pinot grigio, sweet peach liqueur and plenty of fresh fruit, this refreshing peach sangria is the perfect thirst quencher for those warm nights on the patio. It takes just a few minutes to whip together, and it's perfect for entertaining a crowd.

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle pinot grigio
  • 2 cups peach nectar
  • ½ cup peach liqueur or peach brandy
  • ½ cup triple sec
  • ½ pint strawberries halved and hulled
  • 1 orange sliced
  • 4 peaches sliced

Instructions

  • Mix the wine, peach nectar, peach liqueur and triple sec in a pitcher. Stir in the fruit.
  • Cover and store in the refrigerator for at least four hours or preferably overnight. Enjoy!

Notes

  • If you'd like to give this a bubbly finish, stir in a 12-ounce can of club soda right before serving. Or for a gingery kick, stir in 12 ounces of ginger beer or ginger ale right before serving.
  • Don't use an expensive bottle of wine, but get something you'd drink even if you weren't dressing it up as sangria.
  • Want to use a sparkling wine? I recommend still allowing the liqueur, peach nectar and soaking fruit to sit in the refrigerator and then pour in the sparkling wine, such as Champagne, prosecco or rosè, in the pitcher right before serving.
