Honey-Sriracha BBQ Sauce

Say hello to your new favorite BBQ sauce! With the perfect blend of sweet and spicy and just the right tangy kick, you’ll want to slather this honey-sriracha BBQ sauce on everything that comes off your grill this summer.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups ketchup
  • 3 garlic cloves minced or grated
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger grated
  • 2 teaspoons sriracha see note

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, add the ketchup, garlic cloves, honey, apple cider vinegar, fish sauce, fresh ginger and sriracha.
  • Stir together all the ingredients to make one cohesive mixture.
  • Cook over medium heat on a small burner until the mixture comes to a simmer. Stir frequently to prevent burning. Reduce heat to keep the mixture at a simmer as needed. Cook for about 10-20 minutes, continuing to stir frequently. Pour into an airtight container and store in the refrigerator. Slather it on just about everything. Enjoy!

  • If you'd like to make your BBQ sauce spicier, feel free to add more sriracha, but 2 teaspoons is a good starting point.
